  1. Once upon a time there was an old woman who had two sons. They lived out in the bog. They earned there [sic.] living by gathering heather to make brooms. They used to sell every week in the town. Rossmore and his brother John, had a hump each on his back. Rossmore was very good and agreeable but his brother was very bad-tempered and cross.
    One day Rossmore went to the market with his brooms. It happened to be on Halloweve night. When coming home he sat down to rest and soon fell asleep. When he awoke it was late in the night and he heard beautiful
