    Roinn Roinn Postáil
    Long ago in this district the old people used to have their own cures for certain diseased. They used to put horses winkers on the people and head them to a spaw [sic.] well and make them take three sips of the water in the name of the father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost. This is said to be a cure for mumps.
    To cure jaundice they used to gather herbs and mix them together. They used to boilthis and put it into a bottle and give it to the ailing person.
    White note-paper boiled on sweet milk was said to be a cure for nose-bleeding.
