    On this night all young people play a lot of tricks on their neighbours. For instance They throw heads of cabbage or turnips at doors and if anyone comes to the door he is very lucky if he does not get a blow.
    If any person in the townland is not on speaking terms with his neighbour the young people go and steal some article belonging to him and leave it on the other man;s farm and then when he goes to look about it he has to speak to the other man again.
    They play other tricks as well on that night. A lot of young boys go about taking wheels of carts, harness, gates, etc and hide them so that the owners do
