On New Years Eve the bells are rung "to ring out the old and ring in the new". There are drums played up and down the street of Dromahair.
On Shrove Tuesday we eat pancakes, as many as we are able to.
On Bonfire night we make bonfires everywhere and set hill and heather on fire.
On Easter Sunday we eat every sort of egg and people go to early church.
On Hallow Eve we eat nuts and apples and go stealing gates and hide them.
On St Stephen's day people dress up and go out and a wren in their pocket and sing songs and get money.
