(Collected by Cait Nic Réill from her father Francis McGreal of Slievenakilla) - THE TWELVE ROOMSThis is the name given to a number of crevices or caves in the Stranagarvanagh rock. Large stones are placed there in the form of twelve rooms or chambers.
THE PLAYBANKThis is a level piece of the mountain above the townlands of Corralubber and Urbal Barr in the parish of Ballinaglera. To this place the young people used to repair on the last Sunday of July in each year ( called locally "Garland" Sunday. Here they amused themselves dancing and singing and playing music.
CARRAIG omo CROIDHE ?This is the name of a rock on the Carnfulla (?) Mountain.
