Ar an leathanach seo
- First, we get four pieces of timber about 18" long. Alder-timber is suitable. We dress them or plane to the thickness of 3" x 3". We then mark and hole them and fix in the four rungs which form the front part of the Párdóg. Then we mark them at the back for the ribs. Each rib must be about 4" from the next one. It must be about three and a half feet long and of a hoop-shape. We fix the ribs in their places and wedge them until they are firm. We then put in the bottom which must be round in shape. Lastly, we must weave fine rods between the ribs so as to have the Párdóg close enough to hold ashes or manure. Then the Párdóg is finished.
