- (ar lean ón leathanach roimhe)vegetables. On Easter Sunday they had eggs for the breakfast, and dinner. On Hallowen they had boxty, and they always killed a fowl also. The boxty was put into a pot, and boiled with water, and when it was taken up, and put on two big plates on the table, and they had sweet milk, and sometimes they had butter-milk.
