- (ar lean ón leathanach roimhe)all men had to go out and fight and amongst them went Scanlon. Scanlon went through a war and after a while he came home. Then he saw that the ghost's words were true. He is living yet but he is now an old man.

This story was told to me by my father.
There was a man by the name of Lavery. He was living in the town-land of Ballylongford.
When he was cutting hay he found an oven. It was broken and he fixed the oven. Then he put the oven up in the ditch and it was filled with bread.
