    There are a good deal of roads in my townland. One of the roads is about three hundred years old. When the people were making the roads that time the men used to get two-pence a day. The men used to come very far to help to make the roads. There is a road about three quarters of a mile long and there is no traffic on it. Half of it was made in the years of the Famine.
