    The landlord that was in Benada was Jones. They were very bad. Every year the tenants had to give a half-houndred of turf to the landlord. If they did not give turf they would be put out of their houses. They had to pay the rents also. He was a protestant. One day he heard that the priest was going to say something about one of his servants. The landlord went to Mass the next Sunday. When the priest was saying something about the servant the landlord went up to the altar. When he was about to strike the priests his hand fell powerless. After a while he became a Catholic.
