    their masters. Goll heard them and went to the place. The witches were preparing to slay their captives but they came forth to fight Goll. Goll killed two but the third promised to take the spell frm the prisoners if she was spared.
    Goll agreed and the horses were set free. There was great joy at this escape and Fergus made a poem in praise of Goll who had saved Finn.
