    are to build sixty-four houses soon.
    Among the ruins in the town and outside it there is the Franciscan Abbey and Columcille's Church. Amongst the best-known buildings are the Munster and Leinster Bank and the other banks two in number, the Post Office and the Parish Priest's residence.
    There is close on a thousand people living in this town and they are increasing. Another industry which was carried on here was the making of barrels tubs and chairs by individuals called "coopers". This is only carried on on a small scale now.
