- (continued from previous page)Whit Sunday is called the "Cross Day" of the year. Nobody should go bathing or swimming on that day.
- When Whit Sunday arrives there is one dangerous hour in Sunday, Monday and Tuesday. That hour is not known. A person does not like to get hurt during that hour. It is said the hurt will never get better.
On the first of April people put a horse-shoe in the fire and they will have good luck throughout the year.
