    "I will tell you why" replied the lodge woman with a pitiful face. "That girl in the car reminds me of a beautiful girl that passed away here some time ago. Her father and mother lives above in that Great House and they feel very lonely after her."
    "Would you know her" said Jack "if you see her again."
    "She is very much like her" was the woman's reply "and that is the reason I fell so lonesome for she was very fond of me."
