    May the Lord receive their souls,
    Who met with an awful doom,
    To be taken away so suddenly,
    All in their youth, and bloom.
    May God comfort their parents,
    And friends who many deplore,
    Who on earth left behind to
    mourn their loss,
    Who on earth can do no more.
    I do not know the names of any of the victims.
    The bodies were taken to Michael Nulty's barn, where their fathers and mothers got their own children. Each father and mother knew their own children.
    The bodies were all buried in the one grave, with the Master at their head.
    A number of the old people tell that the Master could have saved himself, as he was a good swimmer. He was afraid of being punished.
    It is said that the boat is seen on the lough late at night
