I pray to God to be my guide. And ever and ever I give my soul to God forever.

    (continued from previous page)
and kindle in them the fire of thy love
    Amen.
In their sorrows they always say
May the most just the most high and most amiable will of God be done
Praised and eternally exalted in all things
    Amen.
    Oh sweetest heart of Jesus,
I implore, that I may ever
    love thee more and more,
    Amen
The following prayer was said from the 30th of November to Christmas, to give some petition or other,
Hail and blessed be the hour and moment
In which the son of God was born,
Of the most pure Virgin Mary,
At midnight in Bethlehem through piercing cold,
    In that hour vouchsafe,
"Oh my God to hear my prayer and grant my petition through Jesus Christ Our Lord
    Amen.
