- 2. There was a man there long ago named Diarmuideen. He was supposed to be with the good people. At time he used to disappear altogether. One night there was a wedding. The good people meant to carry off the girl if she would sneeze three times without anyone saying "God Bless us". The good people would have her then. They were up on the rafters watching. She sneezed twice. No one said "God bless us". She sneezed the third time. "Wisha, God Bless us", said Diarmuideen "as no other one would say it for you", and he fell down on the floor and Diarmuideen no longer belonged to the good people.
