- There once lived a man in the Mourne Mountains named neil. He had seven sons. As they grew up they went away. They were the best sports men of that time. They all went but the youngest son. His name was neil óg. One morning Neil óg asked his father what age he was and his father told him that he was twenty one years at nine o clock that morning. Then neil óg said he would not stay any longer, he said he would go to seek his fortune. The father told that to his wife and she asked neil why was he leaving them "now we are old ad worn from hard work and you are leaving us alone". But he said he would not stay. So she told him to go in to the stable and take out the best horse and she(leanann ar an chéad leathanach eile)
