    A sling is something like a catapult. Two pieces of string each about two feet long and a piece of leather is wanted. The strings are tied to the leather in the same way as the rubber is tied in the catapult.

    Wind one string around the 2nd finger and hold the other end between the finger and thumb. Swing it quickly in the air and realease the end between the finger and thumb. The stone that is in the leather will go a good distance.
    A whistle can be made out of an elder stick. Cut the stick to about 4 inches. Then scoop out
