  1. It is said you can do anything in a rath but you cannot take out of it.
    There was a man one time & he sowed potatoes in a rath. When it was time to dig them out he went with a basket & spade. He dug away untill his basket was full, he was lifting it up when and he was paralysed.
    My Grandfather has a field with a rath in it. One day a neighbour went to bring some bushes home with him & the next morning his cows were dead.
