Monaghan, when they heard terrible noise in the kitchen. It was like the sound of sticks breaking. One of the men, Owen Dullaghan, lit a candle and it was put out on him. He lit it again and it was put out again. Then they heard the fire being lighted, and the water being put into the kettle. They then saw a "Spirit" about six feet tall, walking across the room, and a door opened for it, It was said that this door was never remembered to be opened, before
