Ar an leathanach seo
- Every farmer churns at least twice a week and sometimes three times. The woman of the house keeps the amount of butter she needs for the use of the house and then she takes the remaining part to town and she sells it there.
The churn is made of timber usually oak and painted brown or green on the outside about five feet from the ground. It is hooped all round on the out side with strips of iron and is of round shape, being narrow at the top getting wider at the bottom.
