    He tried to row to the shore but his boat was struck on a rock and smashed to pieces. He himself was thrown out on the shore half dead. As usual the poor man was hunting for game among the trees and he at once went to the rescue of Thomas. He brought Thomas to his home. Then he went back again to try to rescue the broken boat, but as he was getting through a clump of trees he noticed that one of them had been uprooted by the wind.
    He stood to look at it and there right under it he saw a box. He picked it up; it was heavy. He went straight home and he and his wife opened it. "Oh Shawn, a vic" said his wife when she saw the contents of the box "we are rich for ever" Sure enough they never had a bady day after that. Shawn sold some of the precious stones and got lots
