- (ar lean ón leathanach roimhe)got three bundles of rushes. The two big lads did as they were told but the small lad stood aside and went behind the door. While they were gone for the rushes the small lad saw a lot of dead people in a cellar. Every one that went in to this house got killed if they were not up before four o'clock. The small one wakened at three and told the other boys to go because they would be killed if they did not do so. They came to this big merchant. There was one old woman in the house and the merchant said he would give any of them £100 if they would get the white horse, golden cup and the melodeon which were in the house. The small lad said he would have a try. One night as the old woman slept the boy pinched the white horse. The old woman got up and gave him a bit of hay(leanann ar an chéad leathanach eile)
