    at so much per head, also for sheep. There is also a luck penny paid by the seller of the cattle when he gets his money in like manner for horses and pigs this money is supposed to go as giving luck to the buyer.
    When animals are sold the buyer marks them with raddle or some with a cut of a scissors and in the cast of horses especially young ones a halter is given by the seller to lead him. The principal fairs of the year occur in Spring and Autumn generally and there is a special horse fair on November day.
