Day, There was ban-beggars playing and dancing.
Sometimes ban-beggars tried to take money off others, then they would fight.
On New Year's Eve some men would beat out the old year by beating drums.
On St. Brigid's Day the people leave their doors unlocked for St. Brigid to come in.
ON St. Patrick's Day there were many fights. The people would drown the shamrock, that is to get drunk.
Everyone would eat eggs on Easter Sunday. Mrs Flanagan now dead, once ate twelve duck eggs and one goose egg.
