    First they go to the girls home and stay there for part of the day and then they go to the Brides future home.
    Long ago the girl stayed at her mothers home for a couple of days after the marriage. Then the husband came with a horse for her. This was known as the hauling home. The two riding the horse was called the "cúlóg".
    Nowadays money is always given as dowry but long ago money was rarely given only stock and goods.
