The three sisters were married on the 6th March and time rolled on.
Then the young Queen was going to be a Mother. Her two sisters went to the King and asked to be allowed to attend to their sister during her illness. The King said it was only proper to her to have her sisters with her during the time she would be laid up. So the time came along and a beautiful baby boy was born to her. So the two Aunts took away the baby and put it in a box and wrote on the lid these words
"Whoever thou art that does this Infant find
Take it home and to the same be kind
It might to you a fortune bring
For it is the son of a Royal King".
When they had that done they put the box on a stream which was on the King's land. The wicked sisters put a rat in the place of the baby boy and told the King his wife was confined of a rat. He went raving mad for months.
