  2. St Stephen's Day
    All the boys dress up in old clothes, false faces, and old hats with feathers decorating them. They go around from house to house playing melodeons and dancing and singing.
    This is the song they sing
    "The Wren, the Wren, the king of all birds.
    St Stephen's Day he got caught in the furze
    So up with the kettle and down with the pan
    And give me a penny to bury the Wren"
    They gather money which they divide. When they
