  1. Churning
    We have a churn at home.
    It is three feet in height and is a three gallon churn.
    The sides are very round.
    We will have it a year next month.
    In Summer butter is made twice a week but in Winter it is made only once a week.
    My mother always does the churning.
    Any person who is there while the churning is going on, or if any person comes in during the operation, they always take a hand at the churning because it is said they would bring the butter if they didn't.
