  1. One morning there was a farmer going to a fair with a horse. He had got a new set of shoes on the animal the evening before. In the morning he started on his journey and he was riding on the horse. When he was passing a certain bush on the roadside he saw the four shoes flying off the horse's feet. He got down and saw they were gone so he said he would bring the animal to the nearest forge.
When he got to the forge the smith found the shoes on the horse's feet the same way as he put them on the day before. He told the man that the bush was haunted and every time he passed by it to throw a stone into it and nothing would ever happen to him.
