    He is supposed to own a small purse or a bag of gold.
    It is said that if a person got the gold and did not keep it in one of the garments that he was wearing it is supposed that he Lepreachán would secretly steal it.
    Long ago there was a Lepreachán who went into a house during the households absence.
    The man of the house came in and tried to catch him but it failed him. The Leipreachán escaped and ran into his hiding place. The man followed him and went to the hole and he heard him saying that if he delayed another while he would be a rich man.
