Ar an leathanach seo

The blessed handkerchief is afterwards used as a cure for many diseases particulary for sore throats. The cross is hung up over some door in the house. It is supposed to prevent the house from being damaged by storm. Crosses and stars are made on Christmas eve of plaited rushes. They are hung beside pictures of Our Saviour.
A lighted candle is placed on each window on Christmas night.
