- There is a fort in Doon in John Ring's land. There was a nurse that lived in Kiskeam by the name of Nellie O Connor. A man on horse back came to her door and asked her to come with him that there was a person needing her assistance and he carried her to Doon Fort
There is another fort in Dwane's land in Keelnahulla. A little girl on her way to school had to pass by the fort. When crossing the fort a woman carried her in to the fort three days after one another when she went home she told her mother. The little girl's people had a cow that was sick so her mother told her to ask the woman for a cure. The fort woman gave the little girl a box of ointment.
