- In the year eighteen hundred, there was a man named the Brickleock, who lived in a mountain in Bottlehill. The English were after this man to arrest him. He filled a foals skin with gold and buried it in a fort, north of Mr. Andrew Coleman's house, Rockhill, Grenagh, Co. Cork.
A man by the name of Mr. John Creedon was living in Rockhill, some time ago, and was supposed to have found the Brickleock's will. One night he went to search for the gold, and when he was digging for some time he hit something solid on the ground with his spade, which was a flag. He lifted it up and found a foals skin of gold under it. The man went home and was rich during the rest of his life.
