- These are a list of the farm animals, cows, horses, sheep, pigs, donkeys and goats. The domestic animals are the cat and the dog.
The cow is a very useful animal. We get milk, butter, cheese and when she is killed we get beef from her. The skin is made into leather. Some farmers have names on the cows. If they were the colour of a flower such as a daisy or a lily they are called by those names. We have a black and white and we call her "Magpie" because of her colour. Nearly every farmer has a sheep-dog for driving home the cows and the person driving them uses the words "How hush". The cow house is called a stall and they are very up to date now around the city as there are inspectors looking after them to see that every(leanann ar an chéad leathanach eile)
