St. Senan.When Saint Senan was a boy, his father kept him at home from Mass on Sunday to keep away the crows from the potato garden.Senan did not like to stay at home from Mass, but he had to obey his father. When the father had gone to Mass the boy gave three whistles and then a wonderful thing happened. All the crows around flocked towards him and perched at his feet. He locked them all in an outhouse and then went to Mass. After Mass he met his father who was very angry with him, as he thought that his potato garden was destroyed by the crows. He asked Senan why he disobeyed him."Don't be angry", said Senan, "The garden is all right, come on and I will show you". His father went with him to the outhouse and saw the crows.
