Ar an leathanach seo

The holy well in Borrigane is also visited on the 15th of August each year.
A child who is born after the father has died may cure a person who has thrush. There is a blessed well in Nantanan Askeaton. It is called St. James's well, and it has cured many people with bad sight. There is moss growing around the well. One has to go around the well seven times, and after every round, has to wash the eyes with the moss and water.
A local cure for a toothache is to extract it, or some people say if you go into a graveyard and chew a blade of grass.
