   In our school we play many games. When we get out at half twelve we play in the field. Our favourite game is 'hell and heaven.' Six usually play this. Two call 'first caught' and two others 'second caught', The two who do not call are in hell. They aim at someone who is in heaven and if they catch her the person they catch and the one running are in hell. This is very enjoyable. 'Ghost at the Well'. One person acts as mother of the children. She sends them to the well for water. The children run back and tell the mother there is a ghost at the well. Then the mother goes also tot he well. Herself and the ghost talk to one another. M. "I am as high as the castle." G. "I am as high as the moon." M. "What are you doing there?" G. "Sharpening my knife".
