   these houses were thatched and the other one of them was slated and some of the houses of long long used to have round roofs also, This is what the people used to thatch house's long long ago with was rushes, The old houses long long ago used to have a bed in the kitchen also and it was in a corner of the kitchen the bed used to be fixed and that sort of a bed used to be called a pressbed. At the gable wall of the kitchen the people used to have the fire The front of the chimney of the old houses long ago used to be made of mortar & sticks & the back of the chimney used to be made of stones People long ago used to make the fire of turf & coal. Candles used be the light long ago
