  1. Some people, old people especially know what kind of weather we are going to have, by signs, generally seen in the sky.
    My father told me that he knew some fishermen who told him, when at night, they would be going out to fish they would always first look at the sky. If the sun, moon, and stars were in the sky together, they would turn back because this is a sign of a storm.
    If a rainbow is seen in the sky in the morning it is a sign of a storm but if a rainbow is seen in the sky at night , it is a sign of mild weather.
    If there is a ring or circle around the moon, especially if it a large circle, it is a sign that there is a storm close at hand. There is an old verse:
    "A far off ring
    is a near hand storm".
