- The Clonmel is the oldest road, from the village, and it leads to Clonmel the capital of Tipperary.
The road to Fethard is not so old. It was made during the public work's, which was the result of the famine in the year 1847. The old road had its course, up at the side of the river at Holohans bridge. And continued on through Rathkenny to Fathard. These two roads are on the west end of the village.
On the eastern side is the Mullinahone road, and it seems to be a continuation of the Clonmel road. About a mile from the village, a road goes up through Kylegranna and Preistown it is a narrow hilly road. It was called the Dublin road, on the maps of the country.
