My father Edward Fogarty told be about this fort.
There is a fairy fort in one of John Dee's fields in Kingcor. There is a circle of trees and a hold in the middle of it. If a person stood in the middle of it they could see two other forts up on the hill.
When the Danes were in Ireland it is said that they buried gold in that fort and that they asked a soldier three times would he watch the gold dead or alive.
