    FLALE
    (Illustration) handle / Buailteaín / leather joining the Buailteaín to the handle
    This is used for threshing corn. The whole thing is called a "flale" but the stick for hitting the corn is called a Buailteaín. The Buailteaín is generally holly or ash.

    MUZZLE (Illustration)
    This is what the people used long ago as a muzzle for a calf. A flat pint (?) with holed in the sides and bottom and a piece of twine to tie around the calves head to keep it from falling off.

    This is made to put logs of timber up on it to saw them.

    CRUISÍN (Illustration)
    This is a thick stick with a knob on the end of it for washing potatoes

    GRIOFÁN (Illustration)
    These are generally made by blacksmiths. They are made for hoeing ridges or drills.

    MÁILÍN (Illustration)
    This is made for holding Sciollaíns when they are being set. The strap is hung around the neck and the Sciolláins are then in front
