Song
“Dá bfuirghmís cead chun marbhtha”
The following is a verse of an Old Croppy Song relating to Mlaude:-
Dá bfuighmís cead chun marbhtha
S'iad an céad bheirt iad, do dheagfaimís
S'is deimhin gur bin do greadfaimís-ne

- Kilpatrick churchyard is about half a mile from my house. This was once the site of a Church which was supposed to be built by St. Patrick on his way from Cashe;. Hence the name CIll Pádraig.
Only a small fragment of the building remains namely the ruin of the east gable and a small portion of the wall attached to it. The present graveyard surrounds the ruins of the church and great numbers are still being buried there. A wooden cross commemorating the Manchester Martyrs is erected in the graveyard. About a mile from Kilpatrick is situated the modern parish church of Anacarty.- Bailitheoir
