  2. I never saw a churning done because creamerys were there while I remember. But I heard about it.
    Two sorts of churns were in use a barrel fixed fixed on a frame and an upright churn.
    The barrel-like one was worked by a handle. The barrel goes around when the handle is twistted.
    The upright one is worked by a staff which passes through the lid.
