    Local cures
    The cure for the chin-cough is to be put under and over a donkey for three times. The way you do it is like this, two people stand each side, and you pass the child to the people on one side, and they pass the child under the donkey to the people on the other side, then they hand the child back again over the donkey. This is repeated for three times, then some meal is put into the child's dress, and the donkey is allowed to eat a few mouth fulls of the meal.
    The cure for bleeding in the nose is to wash your face in very cold water, and to put a very cold key on the back of your neck.
