    and when he cleaned the clay back from it. It took so big that he though that he could not lift the stone, so he ran home for his wife, when they came back to lift the stone, and when he lifted the stone, the crock of gold was taken away by the fairies. There is a cave in Mr Larney's field. The field is called the house field and my father knows where the cave is. The fairies were seen in the field. This is a remarkable thing also when corn is sown in the field, the corn a round the cave is small compared with the corn in the rest of the field. The fairies took the gold to this cave so it was said. If Mr Woods has to lift the stone himself, he had the crock of gold. While he was going home for his wife, the fairies came and took it away with them.
