- There is a fort in Mayo, Tierworker, Bailieborough, and there is a ditch all round it. It is situated on the top of a hill, and there is another one not far from it. Long ago there was a noise heard at this fort every night like a cat mewing. There is a field in Cormeen, Mullagh, Kells, Co.
