- (ar lean ón leathanach roimhe)There is a field in Lisclogher Athboy called the "Castle Field". There was an old castle in it long ago, but the walls were knocked down half-way, and a shed was built with the remainder of it.There is another field called the "Well Field". In it there is a well, and the water is taken from it to give a drink to cattle.
The "Lower Dromanna" is very low lying, and it runs along the edge of the bog. In it there is a hill with trees growing on top of it. It is supposed to be inhabited by the fairies, and people are always afraid to pass by after dark. Tunnells are supposed to run from this hill to other hills in the district. These were put there by the Normans. - A field on South Hill estate is called the "Priest's Field" because it belonged to some Priest long ago, and a corner in this field(leanann ar an chéad leathanach eile)
